Across the nation, districts and schools often look to state educational agencies for guidance on seeking high-quality professional learning providers. Gulf Comprehensive Center developed this brief in response to a request from a state it serves. It summarizes professional learning scope, provider eligibility and approval requirements, and legal and regulatory authority in Arkansas, Colorado, Louisiana, Minnesota, New Mexico, Ohio, Texas, and Washington.
