Beth Howard-Brown
Beth Howard-Brown, Ed.D., is a Research Associate at RMC, providing technical assistance to the Gulf Comprehensive Center. She has led projects with the Wyoming Department of Education, the Illinois State Board of Education, and the South Carolina Department of Education (SCDE). She formerly worked for the American Institutes for Research, codirecting the Center on Fiscal Equity, and directing the Southeast Comprehensive Center and a subcontract for the Regional Educational Laboratory Southeast. She is a former state curriculum specialist, school administrator, school counselor, and mathematics teacher. Dr. Howard-Brown has provided direct technical assistance to educators, guided policy development, and coordinated large-scale initiatives with multiple organizations. At the SCDE, she led turnaround efforts for struggling schools. She has extensive experience in training, coaching, and stakeholder engagement, helping agencies use data to drive better educational outcomes.
