Patrick Wnek
Patrick Wnek is the Executive Director of the North East Florida Educational Consortium (NEFEC), a collaborative organization dedicated to advancing educational excellence across 13 rural school districts, as well as P.K. Yonge Developmental Research School at the University of Florida and the Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind.
In his leadership role, Patrick partners closely with member districts to design and implement initiatives that enhance curriculum and instruction, human capital management, support for students with disabilities, and college and career readiness. He also focuses on strengthening district and school leadership, fostering systemic improvement to meet the unique needs of students.
Patrick’s commitment to regional development is reflected in his service on the North Florida Economic Development Partnership’s Executive Committee and as an advisory board member for the Florida Organization of Instructional Leaders (FOIL).
A proud University of Florida alumnus, Patrick earned his Ed.D. in Educational Leadership, building on his dedication to supporting educational improvement and student success.
Passionate about creating educational opportunities, Patrick actively engages with educational and business partners to build pathways that empower all students to achieve success, particularly in rural communities.
