Robin G. Jarvis
Dr. Robin Jarvis currently leads RMC’s Tampa office and serves as director of the Gulf Comprehensive Center. Her additional roles with the Gulf Comprehensive Center include leading the Alabama Numeracy Act Implementation Support project and supporting the Florida Benchmark-Aligned High-Quality Instruction and Mississippi Ensuring Effective Leaders to Support Teacher Retention projects. She also provides management oversight for RMC’s REL Southeast subcontract and previously managed and provided training and coaching for the REL Southeast’s Alabama Research Partnership on Improving English Learner Outcomes. Additionally, Dr. Jarvis has led and supported needs assessments, diagnostic reviews, stakeholder engagement, and school improvement planning processes for low-performing schools. In her previous role as Chief Program Officer at McREL, she served as Deputy Director for the REL Pacific, provided management support for the North Central Comprehensive Center, and oversaw all research, evaluation, professional development, and technical assistance work for the company. While at SEDL, Dr. Jarvis served as the director of the Southeast Comprehensive Center, led technical support projects for REL Southeast, and provided management oversight for all technical assistance and professional development projects. Dr. Jarvis is a former K-12 teacher and administrator.
EDUCATION: Ph.D. in educational leadership and research from Louisiana State University; M.Ed. in curriculum and instruction/early childhood from Louisiana State University; B.S. in elementary education from Louisiana State University
