Steven J. Dick
Steven Dick, Ph.D., is a Research Associate with RMC Research, specializing in survey design, research methods, and evaluation of education programs. He is an experienced research manager, data scientist, and surveyor in social services and education initiatives. Dick previously worked on the evaluation team of the 2019–2024 Region 7 Comprehensive Center. He is an external evaluator to the Nevada Department of Education’s Disabilities Innovation Fund Grant, the APLUS program in Avoyels Parish, Louisiana, for Full-Service Community Schools, and the Southeastern Louisiana University PRAXIS Training Grant. Dick previously worked in his own company Modern Metrics Barn, and for the Picard Center for Child Development (research center) at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
As a professor for more than 20 years, Dick taught research methods and statistics. Dick has published more than 80 academic journal articles, book chapters, and research reports. He served on more than 120 thesis and dissertation committees, including the Education Foundations and Leadership at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Dick is a national-level reviewer for several journals, What Works Clearinghouse certified, and a member of the National Research Advisory Committee for United Way for ALICE.
